OK, Ok I will update!

I am sorry about the delay between this posting and the last one in October. Life goes on and the projects continue to get done to some degeree or another.
We've had a successful start to the school year. My 6th and 7th grade shop classes continue to go well. My first crack at teaching German is also going well, at least for me, I can't speak for my students. Other highlights, in no particular order would include:
*Our young hen becoming a rooster...oops, the beginning farmer strikes again
*Lots of wiring by Shane in the common house
*Lots of firewood split and stacked...lots more to be done!
*The central column in the round house got 7000+ more pounds of sand dumped into it. (a project needing completion since only maybe three years!!)
*A new insulated stainless steel chimney has been installed in the column. (another oops...we had a small chimney fire that smoked the house out and that precipitated the new chimney and sand)
*two recycled wind turbines have been installed for the common house and Phil's place...a few oop's here (more on them when we fix the problems)
*we bartered a bunch of AGM batteries for a computer for the common side of the common house...it will be a writing studio and canning kitchen when the dust settles (see photos as well)
*the Woodhenge sign is up! It's a 5' diameter recycled sawblade hung from a tori surrounded by a rock wall planted with annuals and perennials
*Woodhenge finally got its not for profit status and tax id number
*Phil's underground home has undergone further renovations ie construction...look at the photo album for a peek
*the canning is almost done for the season...we've put up around 800 jars of stuff. How tasty is it to go shopping in our own stash of canning shelves for an awesome and paid for meal!!
*the tenant finally moved out of the rental in Watertown...we're still cleaning up after him...100 bags of garbage and lawn debris and counting...we'll be really happy when we're done with the clean-up and sell the place! It is our last vestige of system debt. When that house is sold the Juczaks will be DEBT FFFRRREEEE! (Do you listen to Dave Ramsey??)
*Krista has thrown down the gauntlet to challenge us to raise all of the things we need for the family Thanksgiving next year....turkeys I think I can handle, but where do I get the seeds for the stuffing plant?
*I lectured on wind turbines at SUNY Oswego and on Biodiesel and Chemistry of Fireworks at JCC.
*I helped set up a complete off grid system for our friends Mike and Dawn near Pulaski. PV panels, diesel gen-set, and state of the art electronics...it was a challenge, but a lot of fun and education for me.
